To install the Coach Air Kit # SM99627, you will first need to locate the supply hose. The supply air hose is usually green. It will be running from the service relay valve to the braking air tank. The line will be either 1/2" or 5/8" in diameter. I believe I see the green line in your picture so if you can just verify what the line is going to and the diameter of the line you should be able to determine which one is the supply hose. You have to have a breakaway battery kit like the Curt # C52028 for the breakaway brake function on your trailer. This is one of the things that the highway patrol will actually check for to make sure that you are pulling your trailer safely.

The connector you are looking for will be located taped to another larger wiring harness just to the right and above the emergency brake pedal, as shown in the photo I have edited for you.
You can confirm that this is the correct connector by testing it with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. One pin should show a constant 12-volt power supply, another should show voltage only when the brake pedal is pressed.

Passing the wire through the fire wall is different for most every type and year model of vehicle. I would try to find a grommet, as you have, and remove it from the fire wall. If you can find a grommet with fewer wires running through it you will have a much easier time reinstalling it. You wouldn't be able to access the brake lamp signal at the trailer connector because the right turn and left turn lamp circuit also carries the brake lamp circuit. This could cause the trailer brakes to apply when you use the turn signals.
